Her passion for movement began early, shaped by her time at the National School of the Arts, where she trained in ballet and other dance forms. A competitive athlete, she represented her province in rhythmic gymnastics on three occasions and later served as the physiotherapist for UCT’s basketball team.

In her final year of study, Nomsa co-authored a research paper titled “Physical Activity Levels Among Adolescents in a Low Socioeconomic School in South Africa Using the International Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ): A Comparative Reflection of COVID-19 Restrictions on Physical Activity”. The study was published in The South African Medical Association's Undergraduate Research in Health, Volume 2 (2024).

Following graduation, she completed her community service at St Mary’s KwaMagwaza Hospital in Melmoth, KwaZulu-Natal, where she also participated in the hospital’s netball team. Her clinical interests include outpatient physiotherapy and neurorehabilitation, where she supports patients in improving mobility, function, and independence.

Originally from Johannesburg, Nomsa embraces an active lifestyle and enjoys exploring new interests and hobbies. She brings a holistic, patient-centred approach to her work and values building trust through clear communication. As a multilingual practitioner, she engages effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and is committed to inclusive, movement-focused care.
